Jetty Island

Oh Jetty Island why do I always make plans to hang out with you, hoping for a day sprawled out in the sun lazing the day away. And then when I get there, the sun is nowhere to be found! Oh well, we had fun anyway! A group of gal friends of mine with kids in tow, went to Jetty island this past Thursday and despite the not so perfect weather we had a great time! We all packed a little lunch, and the kids had a BLAST digging in the muddy sand!Max had sand EVERYWHERE!! And he loved having is best bud along:) Mina really enjoyed playing Ariel and Flounder with Stella:) I enjoyed the company of all my friends and our crazy kids! (and taking pictures of Maggie of course!) The tide was out REALLY far but we walked out and the kids got to "swim"Mina decided to try some "sand cake" Gross Mina!! Even though, for some reason the weather usually isn't that great when we go, we always have fun at this beach and the kids just love it. I hope to go once more before the season is over:) I still love you Jetty island, but maybe some sun next time?

Bookie's B-day

Yikes! It took me a week to get this posted! BUT my hubby is buying me a new laptop and soon I will be blogging from the comfort of my own couch! So I will (hopefully) be doing it more often:)
LAST Sunday we went to Mina's friend Beothan's 4th birthday party. It was at a great little park and the weather was fabulous! We all had a GREAT time!
Tim and Whitney brought some BBQ for us all! As usual one guys doing all the workall the others "supervising"Lots of little friends were there to help celebrate. I love that this little beauty was there:)Max LOVED the "Cars" theme:)Here's Bookie taking a hydration break and checking out his loot:)Maggie loved the food!Later the men had some "man" time.While the ladies relaxed:)and the kids found a way to cool off!eating (and playing with) the ice in the cooler!

An Incredible day:)

Today we went to Ella's birthday party! It was a superhero/incredibles theme:) Max came as superman and Mina was her "hero" Ariel:)Max found the train set first thing. (Big shocker)But they were super excited to jump in the incredible bounce house!And eat yummy fruitWe were so happy Lily and Addy got to join us:)Here's the birthday girl!and Mr. Incredible himself!What a cute familyThen we all got incredibles masks:)and cake too of coursepresent time is always funHappy Birthday Ella!Thanks for inviting us Ella and family! The first thing Mina did when she got home? Put on the adorable pug shirt Ella got her!Thank you Ella it's so cute! (Even Nubi liked it:)

Playday

Today I had a great group of gals over for a playday! It was superfun, we usually get together every Thursday, and during the summer months we go to the park or the beach. But with the weather so HOT and since I have air conditioning I invited the gong over here:) It actually wasn't too bad outside and the kids all enjoyed the kiddie pools.and the mamas enjoyed chatting:)and goofing off!Then some lunch.Maggie really liked the peach her mama gave her! Look at these cute boys sharing an apple:)and those adorable chunkos!now Nubi's ready for a nap:)Thanks ladies I had a great time today!
