Family Day:)

Today we had a great family day! John took Mina on a date to get a haircut

Mina really wanted blue hair like Coraline, so daddy got her some of this

it was cute watching him love on his little girl:)

she had to check it out

They picked up a new Christmas collar for Nubi!

 They also had some ice cream and picked up Fight Club (new on bluray) and Star Trek!
 Max and I went to Wendy's and Home Depot!:) Did you have fun buddy?

 I think Max's favorite part was the chocolate milk:) (that's my boy:)
Then we watched this (in celebration of Mina's hair I guess:)

Next we are off to watch a special screening of Star Trek with friends and later in the weekend a birthday party. Whew! Quite a weekend:)

Today for playgroup we had a party for little Maggie who turned 1 this Tuesday.

I had fun making this for her so she would look stylish getting her diaper changed:)

She got some other fun things too!

and had lots of helpers for opening:)

and cake? Mommy is much too hip for that:) We had brownies...with black beans in them (I know, sounds weird, but they were quite tasty!) What do you think Mags?

Happy Birthday Maggie!

It 's that time!

I started this post LAST weekend and then totally forgot to finish it! So here goes....

Well, it's time again for another one if our families traditions...can you guess what it is? I'll give you a hint,We watched this.....

and got out all of this...

you guessed it! CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS! Our family tradition is to decorate for Christmas the day after Halloween:) I know "what about Thanksgiving?" We LOVE Thanksgiving and celebrate it too, but I don't see how a tree decorated all pretty takes away from giving thanks:)

Daddy had to make an emergency run to the store because (I kid you not) EVERY strand of our Christmas lights were burnt out! EVERY ONE! It was weird. But we quickly got back on track. The kids helped decorate the tree with Dada:)

Disney on Ice!

Last night we took the kids to see Disney on Ice! It was really fun:) First we met up with Grandma and had super yummy pizza @ the new pizza joint we discovered in Everett called "The Brooklyn". If your around Everett and want some pizza I highly recommend it, it's sooooo good!

 

 

Then we waited (in the rain!) to get inside. We were so excited to run into best friends Lily, Addy and Stella!

We let the kids pick a souvenir, which cost (literally) as much as the tickets! They picked these cute cups filled with snowcones!:)
