Wowsa, what a weekend!

So I first have to back up a little. LAST weekend when my folks were out They brought John's birthday gift since they wouldn't see him again till after. What could it be? Inquiring minds would like to know!

Max thought it was for him

John explained to him whose birthday it was
but guess who ended up playing with it?

Thanks, Nani and Papa!

So fast forward to Thursday morning, we got to join our friends Lily and Addie to see the Nutcracker!

Max went too!

We couldn't take pictures during the show but it was really fun! The kids really liked it:)

Then later that same very day was a craft party at friends Ainsley and Emma's house! Yes, Max was there too:)

The aftermath!
It was super fun! Thanks for inviting us, guys!

Then, Friday was the redux of what was SUPPOSED to happen last Friday:) Mina first went on a super special Daddy date!

First they rode the monorail downtown

Then they went on the carousel

and to cap it all off....they went to lunch

Here!

Super fancy!

Notice the fog floating off the end of the table,

Daddy got her a special birthday dessert with dry ice in it!

Super cool!

Then it was observation deck time:)

Mina LOVED it and thought it was such a "grown up" date:) Especially since they got to drink water out of "wine glasses" (it was just a fancy water glass with a stem, but she doesn't know the difference):)

Shortly after they got home it was PARTY TIME! I planned a fun craft:) Cookie jars!

The kids seemed to enjoy it

I can neither confirm or deny that the kids were eating the ingredients directly out of the jar! Just a warning to those that were recipients of these "gifts" we created:)

My favorite part of this picture is in the middle left hand side:)

Magnus was so sweet and just enjoyed crawling around the whole night, enjoying the party:) After craft and pizza we opened gifts! Mina got an awesome purple Tutu!

A decorate your own jewelry box and mirror

some beautiful handmade headbands and books,

and some game cards and a pretty shiny sand animal:) Thanks Everyone! Uh Oh! Someone is trying to steal  her loot!

and someone else too!

Then it was cupcake and ice cream time!!

I'm not sure what Max's expression portrays.......joy? Mayhem? I'll let you decide.

Everyone was ready to get in on it:)

Pretty birthday Bee!
 the aftermath

Then we moved on to the next bit of fun......Movie and popcorn time!

After that was over we moved the party to the after party venue:)....(cause that's how we roll)

You can't tell the lights are off and they are playing with glow in the dark bracelets:) I can neither confirm or deny that any "slumbering" actually took place but I CAN confirm that come 6am everyone was up! Even those that did not wish to be:) We had some cinnamon rolls and I can neither confirm or deny that cookies were also eaten for breakfast. I baked a jar of the cookies made the night before:)  We all had a lot of fun! Thank you to everyone who celebrated with us. And now I'm going to go catch up on some sleep:)  Later I'll post on our Santa Train trip! It didn't turn out the way we expected! Stay tuned.......

Thank you for hosting the party, Caley had a great time. I think she may have snitched some ingredients from her cookie jar. She crashed Saturday night really early, so thank you! :)
