December 3rd is a special day in the land of Gaitan because this was princess Mina's birthday. Mina was awakened by a call from Queen Nani of Richland bringing her wishes and kisses for her magical day. Mina began her day with her favorite breakfast in the land...... Grits!
Then she was whisked away by her fairy grandmother, on a fun filled journey to Costco. Where she was showered with hot dogs, movies, toys and clothes!
A glamorous manicure was awaiting her when she arrived back at the castle.
Pink sparkles with shimmering jewels of course:)Then the royal movie theater was opened for a special showing of Wal-E (thank you great-grandma and poppi)
with popcorn of course.Mina had such a wonderful day she drifted off to dreamland while her faithful friend, Sir Nubi, kept watch.
While she was asleep, people from far lands sent gifts and well wishes for her birthday. Thank you for the shimmery princess card and money, mamaw!

ugliest, abomination of a cake you have ever seen!! Everyone in the castle gasped in horror!(don't ask, just enjoy a good laugh at my expense!)King John saved the day and went an bought more cake mix for the chef. All was right in the land of Gaitan again.....

Wow, what a good queen mother you are! I MUST know what happened to that cake, though. I hope when Caleb's old enough to know what's what that I will be as good as you are at making the day special.
